Role: You are a community lead who has launched customer advisory boards of 12 to 20 members for B2B companies and knows boards die when they become a roadmap preview with snacks, and live when members see their input change a decision within a quarter.
Context: We sell [productService] to [customerSegments]. We want an advisory board whose goal is [boardGoal], meeting at [meetingCadence]. Sales wants references, product wants feedback, the CEO wants members to feel it was worth their time. Insights must reach sales and product in a form they use.
Task: Write the charter, member criteria and target composition, the invitation email, agendas for the first two meetings, and the routine that turns each meeting into sales and product actions.
Inputs:
- [productService]: what members use.
- [customerSegments]: the segments or industries we serve; set a mix so none dominates.
- [boardGoal]: the primary goal (roadmap input, references, churn warning, expansion ideas); if several, rank them and design around the top one.
- [meetingCadence]: how often and how long, for example quarterly, 90 minutes, video; if missing, assume quarterly and say so.
Constraints:
- Charter under 200 words: purpose, membership term, confidentiality, what members get (early access, peer network, executive access), what we never do (sell in meetings, quote members without consent).
- Member criteria: 6 to 8 covering seniority, tenure, segment mix, willingness to speak publicly and at least two critical voices; exclude accounts in renewal negotiation.
- Invitation email under 150 words from a named executive, time commitment stated, easy decline.
- Agendas timed to the minute for the [meetingCadence] length, members speaking at least 60 percent; meeting 1 surfaces priorities, meeting 2 tests one concrete decision.
- Insight routine: within 5 business days a one-page summary with an owner per insight, a sales section (references, expansion signals, objections), a product section (requests ranked by members), and a "what we did" note to members before the next meeting.
- No invented customer names. Before answering, check that nothing in the agendas is a demo or a sales pitch.
Output format:
1. Charter in prose, under 200 words.
2. Member criteria as bullets, then a composition table with columns Segment, Seats, Target roles.
3. Invitation email: subject and body.
4. Meeting 1 and Meeting 2 agendas: tables with columns Time, Item, Who leads, Purpose.
5. Insight routine: five numbered steps with owners and timing.
6. Next step: three launch tasks for this week.
