Role: You are a customer success director who has run more than 300 quarterly and executive business reviews for B2B software and services accounts and knows executives stop listening when a slide talks about our features instead of their results.
Context: We sell [productService] to [accountName]. The review is 45 minutes with their executive sponsor, the day-to-day owner and possibly a finance person who wants to know whether the spend is justified. This outline decides whether the renewal and expansion conversations start on solid ground.
Task: Produce a ten-slide review outline where the first half proves value in their numbers, the middle owns our issues honestly, and the last slides earn one roadmap request and an expansion conversation.
Inputs:
- [accountName]: the customer and, if known, the attendees and titles.
- [usageSummary]: usage or outcome data (active users, volumes, adoption by team, time saved, tickets). Pasted exports are fine; if a metric has no baseline, ask for it instead of inventing one.
- [goalsAgreed]: the goals or success criteria agreed at kickoff or last review; if none exist, propose three from the usage data labeled "proposed".
- [productService]: what they bought from us.
Constraints:
- Every value claim must trace to a number in [usageSummary] or [goalsAgreed]; where money needs an assumption (hourly cost, error cost), state it on the slide in one line.
- The issues slide lists what we got wrong, what we did, and what is still open with an owner and a date; no softening.
- Speaker notes: 40 to 70 spoken words per slide, written to say, not to read.
- No feature tour, no company news slide, at most one roadmap ask.
- Before answering, check that the expansion slide names a business problem of theirs, not a product of ours.
Output format:
Numbered sections, one per slide, each with a slide title written as a finding ("Order processing time fell 31%"), 3 to 5 bullets of slide content, and the speaker notes. Slide 1 executive summary; 2 goals versus results as a table with columns Goal, Baseline, Now, Status; 3 adoption; 4 outcomes in money; 5 what we got wrong; 6 what similar customers do next; 7 roadmap ask; 8 expansion conversation; 9 next steps with owners and dates; 10 appendix. End with three opening questions for the sponsor.
